Typical planning sequence
Depending on the actual test, a system may include sediment management, oxidation/iron treatment, softening, carbon, disinfection or point-of-use drinking-water treatment. The order changes with chemistry and equipment.
Do not add UV automatically
UV is a microbiological treatment technology. It should not be used as a substitute for understanding the source, well integrity and laboratory results.
Hydraulics still matter
Backwashing filters need adequate well-pump flow and drain capacity. A treatment system that cannot backwash correctly can perform poorly even if the media choice is appropriate.
Next step
Run your numbers through the Water System Planner, then verify any product against its actual service-flow, pressure-drop, capacity and certification data.
